My name is Pallab, and my journey is born from pain—pain that inspired me to create something meaningful.
In 2023, my father fell gravely ill, and navigating his care was a grueling ordeal. Booking appointments was confusing, waiting for tests was exhausting, and crowded clinics only added to the stress. Despite everything, I lost him, and the helplessness stayed with me.
Not long after, my mother had a minor accident, and the same overwhelming challenges resurfaced— long waits, confusing procedures, and mounting frustration. But this time, I refused to let my frustration end in silence.
Sitting by my mother’s side, an idea began to take shape: what if there were a way to make the entire process seamless? A platform where patients could easily book doctors, manage tests, and find care without unnecessary hassle. As I reflected, I thought, why stop at people? I had a dog at home, and finding a vet was just as frustrating. Why not create one platform for both humans and their pets?
I shared my vision with Bhushan, my closest friend, and was surprised to learn he’d faced a similar struggle when his mother had an accident. Like me, he had endured the delays and chaos of the healthcare system. Together, we resolved to make a change.
Bhushan, with his incredible technical expertise, saw the potential in the idea immediately. Together, we began working tirelessly. Fueled by coffee and determination, we brainstormed, drafted plans, and researched how to fill the gaps in the healthcare system. This wasn’t just about creating software—it became a mission to bring hope to those who felt lost, like we once had.
The hurdles in life weren’t enough for us—the stress of building BYDON tested us even further. Sleepless nights, endless planning, and countless challenges seemed overwhelming at times. But as we worked through every obstacle, we realized something powerful: who we are now is shaped by every experience, every struggle, and every hurdle we’ve faced. BYDON is the culmination of that journey—a mix of resilience, determination, and purpose.
